You Won’t Believe How Much Income is Needed to Afford Medium Priced Homes Now

A study by Bankrate.com shows that families need to make six figures just to afford a medium priced home. “To afford a median-priced home of $402,343, Americans need an annual income of $110,871” according to a new Bankrate analysis.

That’s almost a 50% jump since 2020!

From our research, the average home sale price in the Twin Cities metro area is between $330,000 to $370,000. The average 30 year mortgage rate is 7.01% according to Bankrate.com
