Kamala Harris is set to choose her VP pick next week and start campaigning with him. Minnesota’s disastrous, freedom-hating Governor, Tim Walz, is on the short list. In fact many pundits believe it comes down to him, Sen Mark Kelly of Arizona or Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania.
Walz appeals to the Democrat power brokers because he’s a complete shill for their agenda and is not afraid to turn hard left when called upon. His record in Minnesota shows it.
He followed the lead on putting COVID patients in nursing homes, instituted a mask mandate, passed the most radical abortion law in the land, completely overhauled Minnesota’s energy system and allowed for the heinous act of transgender surgeries for children as young as six. Walz also completely mishandled several large budget state programs that defrauded taxpayers by hundreds of millions. And he failed the state during the George Floyd riots, including allowing the burning of a police precinct in Minneapolis.
It’s telling that the Democrats would even consider a man with this kind of record.
However, it appears that Kamala will be choosing Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. That makes a lot of sense considering how important the state is for electoral college victory. If Kamala is strategizing on trying to win Minnesota, this election is already over.
According to an Axios Source, the Harris campaign is encouraging quick donations by donors because of a rule that prohibits raising money with a sitting governor.
The VP announcement will be made in Philadelphia on Monday, according to the Philadelphia NBC affiliate. One would think that the first event with a running mate would be on home turf.
For those of us hoping to see Tim Walz defeated on the national stage, it’s not looking like we’ll get that opportunity this year. But it’s clear he has those ambitions and is in the good graces of the Democrat Party power brokers.
Whenever he does end up running for president, we’ll be hear informing the public of his pitiful record as Governor.
