A Democrat State Senator from Woodbury was arrested for 1st degree burglary in Detroit Lakes Monday morning. Sen Nicole Mitchell is in her first term in the Minnesota Senate, elected in 2022.
Apparently police were called to a location in Detroit Lakes for a burglary, which led to the Democrat Senators arrest in an area hundreds of miles from the district she represents in the east Metro. According to KFGO, a “homeowner called police at 4:45 a.m.” and “Nicole Mitchell, 49, was taken to the Becker County Jail.”
Details are still forth coming and the Becker County attorneys office is reviewing charges.
