National Democrat Donors Bundle ‘In-kind’ Donations Through Constitutional Candidate Spoiler in MN Congressional Race

High level Democrat donors bundled donations through a third party, “Constitutional Conservative” candidates campaign in what appears to be an effort to split the conservative vote and tilt the election in favor of incumbent Democrat, Rep Angie Craig.

In November, Republican Joe Teirab will be facing Craig in the most hotly contested congressional race in Minnesota. The race, by most people’s estimates, is a toss up. So several people are accusing (including Teirab) of the Democrats of “election interference” in order to win the seat. And they may have a point…

According to Bowman’s FEC filings, he received six maximum donations from Democrat donors, all from outside of Minnesota, which account for all of his $19,800 of funds received so far. Those donations were offset with the same amount in expenditures and labeled as “in-kind” contributions.
